Once Upon A Time Returns For Season 6 This Fall

The sixth season of "Once Upon A Time" is expected to air on ABC in September, bringing us back to Storybrooke. Thanks to the Season 5 finale, we got hints on how the series' next installment would be like, with old characters returning and new ones coming.

The new season of “Once Upon A Time” will come later this year, and based on its history, the show might come on air again around the fourth quarter of 2016.

Just like the previous season, there will be 22 episodes in Season 6considering that the show has consistently ranked high in terms of ratings. As usual, ABC will also impose a mid-season break that will be finished by new year.

Aside from a returning villain, the upcoming season will also introduce a new bad guy that will storm Storybrooke with an army of forgotten storybook characters. On the forefront of the war is newcomer Mr. Hyde from the Robert Louis Stevenson novel, “The Curious Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”

The ABC series is also planning to bring back old fan favorites such as Ruby (Meghan Ory) and Doroth (Teri Reeves). “Once Upon A Time” 2-hour season finale aired on May 15.
